Gray's 4th Birthday Party!

Gray LOVES golf, so the cake was PERFECT for him!

He wanted to have his party at Jumpstreet which is a trampoline place for kids.
Gray and Harry having a chat about something and looking adorable.
 Lou and Nanny Neetie.
 Lou and Grandpa Jim.
Gray when everyone was singing "Happy Birthday!"

I can't believe it is January and I am just getting around to posting pictures from the party. Part of it is probably that I only took about 10 pictures and they are all pretty bad! However, I still want to document it, so you'll have to imagine 15-20 kids running around and jumping all over the place! Gray had a great time! He has been talking about his 5th birthday party since the day after he turned 4.

The cake was delicious and has a story that is worth sharing...I had picked up the cake Saturday afternoon because the party was a Sunday and the bakery would be closed. When I picked it up, they informed me that they made me the wrong cake flavor, so they credited my account and also gave me a gift certificate. I actually didn't care, since Gray wouldn't have noticed! Anyway, I got it home and put it down on a bench for one second to open the baby gate so I could take it down to our fridge in the basement. In the 5 seconds it took, Ellie had stuck her mouth in the box and licked a good part of the front of the cake. Oh, Ellie. I called the bakery to see if they had any other cakes they could just write "Happy Birthday Gray!" on and they didn't. They then got back on the phone and told me if I could come by on Sunday they would have a new one for me!!!! I was beyond thrilled! The new cake looked even better, was the right flavor and they didn't charge me for remaking it. I'm telling you this story because the service I received from Mulberries Cake Shoppe was AMAZING. I recommend them to everyone now and will forever use them!

It's funny to look at these pictures just 5 months after he turned 4 and see how much he has already changed. Such a loving, sweet kid who we love with ALL of our hearts.

Happy 4th Birthday Gray!!! (5 months late!) :)

21 Months!

Lou said "Ana, picture!" I said "Sure, you can take a picture with Ana, sit next to her." She wanted to be as close as possible. LOL.

 Kisses for Ana.
 Hugs for Ana.
If she stands on her toes, she's almost as tall as Pumpkin Girl. How did that happen?

Happy 21 Months Louise!

I can't believe I can say that my baby girl is almost 2. She is a sassy, funny, smart, loving, energetic girl! She says "Hi, Gray!" every chance she gets. When we drop Gray off at school she says "Where did Gray go?" I tell her that Gray is at school and she says "NO, GET GRAY!" She love, love, loves him.

Lou also loves Ana and Elsa from Frozen. She's never actually seen the entire movie, yet is so drawn to the characters. She loves dress up clothes and "pretty dresses." She asks to wear a "pretty dress" every single day. If I put her in a t-shirt, I have to refer to it as a "pretty t-shirt" or she wants nothing to do with it. She is a girly girl, but also tough as nails.

This morning when Drew was leaving to work I heard Lou say,  "Bye Daddy, I love you." Drew said, "I love you too, Lou" and she replied "Thank you Daddy... you're welcome."

Thank you Lou, for bringing us so many laughs and so many sweet, sweet moments.

20 months!

Happy 20 Month Birthday Lou!

With all of the excitement of Christmas, I forgot to post Lou's 20 month pictures.

I can't remember a lot that changed between 19-20 months (it's amazing how quickly you forget!) Lou loves to sing Christmas songs with Gray and knows most of the words. She also LOVES singing the alphabet and counting. She counts to 18, sometimes she misses a few numbers.

We love you Lou!
