I have started taking a photography class and one of our first assignments was on shallow depth of field. I'm pretty excited to finally be learning how to use my new camera!

Bathtub Grin

"Bathtub Gin" is a Phish song. I thought it was too perfect to not use it for Gray's crack up in the tub. I just think "Bathtub Grin" is a much more appropriate for this video. :)

Happy Father's Day (My) Dad!

My Mom always says I am just like my Dad. She says it in a sarcastic way, like if I drip food down my shirt..."Oh Kristy, you are just like your Dad."

I take that as the nicest compliment I could ever receive! My Dad is amazing! He is smart, funny, giving, loving, caring, handsome and a damn good dancer! So, if I am just like him, I think I am doing pretty good!

HAPPY 10 MONTH BIRTHDAY GRAY!!!!

We are now into the double digits. 10 months old. That is scary! Time is flying.

In the last month Gray has...

*Started pulling himself up onto ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.
(Ellie, closet mirrors, tables, bar stools, foot stools)

*LOVES to play "Crash Down" with Dad.
(Crash down is where Drew lays on the couch, Gray pulls himself up to stand on top of Drew and looks at me, smiles and then crashes down on top of Drew. It is hysterical. I will get a video of it up soon!)

*Gives high fives
*Gives fist pumps
(sometimes he gets the 2 confused!)

*LOVES to eat. Gray will eat anything. He particularly loves grilled chicken and bread with apple butter. He also LOVES yogurt, but I think he may be allergic. He gets red around his mouth after eating it...bummer.

*Has a few signs from his sign language class..."more," "dog" and the teacher thinks he has "ball," but I am not so sure about that. ;)

*LOVES to sleep. Gray has always been a good sleeper, but now loves it so much he has decided to make his bedtime 5:00-5:30. This is great for me, but hard for Drew because he doesn't get to see him when he gets home from work.

I am sure I am forgetting a million things that have changed in the last month, but these are the ones that stand out. We feel so blessed to have such an amazing, happy, sweet, lovable little man.

Stayed tuned for next month when Gray celebrates his first Fourth of July in Flagstaff and visits Telluride (my favorite place) for the first of many times!

Dreamy playhouse, huh? I just saw this on Gilt Group on sale for over $800 and it made me wonder...is there a big market for modern playhouses? So, I Googled it and found a ton.

I think Gray is a modern tot, but if he ever wants a playhouse, we may have to go for the classic Little Tikes. Do boys even like playhouses? I guess this is something I don't know. I think they do, right?

That is AMAZING. I wish I had that for myself. A little yoga studio, err, I mean playhouse overlooking my pool. Nice thought.

This is the playhouse I remember playing in. I never had one, but I remember my friends having it. Definitely not as cool or spacious. I really like the little kid looking out the window...What's he thinking?

These pictures are from April. I forgot to put them up and the ones with Ellie are so funny, I couldn't resist. Gray loves using Ellie as a stool to push himself up to stand, the problem is that he grabs Ellie's hair to do it and she is not a big fan of that!

It's so crazy to see how much more hair Gray has now. So much can change in 2 short months. Where did my LITTLE man go?
