Countdown to Christmas-25!

It's December 1st! Do you know what that means? It's time to start your Advent calendars. We have decided to do a Gray Advent calendar for you! Everyday we will post a new (festive) photo of Gray in anticipation of Christmas. When you click to open our blog, it will be like opening the little windows on your Advent calendar.
25 photoshopped photos.
That is a big commitment on my part, but for you I am willing to do it! :) Hope you get a chuckle out of each one! HO!HO!HO!

Giving thanks

We had the best weekend. We spent it with Drew's parents relaxing a lot, eating a lot and laughing at Gray....a lot! I think a great time was had by all! Gray may be the luckiest baby on the planet to have such wonderful, loving grandparents
Gray also had some friends over for the Nebraska game. As you can see above, Charley and Eli are absolutely adorable. Charley is 3 weeks old and Eli is 4 months old. Their parents are dear friends of ours and I hope Eli and Charley will grow up to be dear friends of Gray's.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Are you ready for Christmas?

gobble, gobble.

We have so much to be thankful for this year. Like most of you, we are incredibly thankful for our amazing, wonderful, loving family and great group of friends. We are also thankful for another year of health and happiness! Most importantly, we are thankful for our son and our sweet goldie. Drew and I feel like the luckiest people on the planet to have been given these truly amazing gifts. Our lives feel complete and for this we will be forever thankful.
We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
for katie and colin, i am thankful for you sharing such a cool website! thank you!

Baby stuffed turkey??????
Blog:The Poop: 11230 : Martha Stewart turkey baby costume. Disturbing or cute?
This scares me.
No, this is not my son.
I admit I was looking around for a crocheted Pilgrim hat for Gray to wear on Thanksgiving. It is supposed to be cold here after all, and what better way to cover his little-big head (remember 90th percentile?) than with a festive hat? Well, lucky for him, I couldn't find one....only a pattern and I don't crochet.
While I was looking, I came across this "Roast Turkey Costume" on Martha Stewart's website. I don't know about you, but I think it is a little over the top.
Poor kid.

I'm Not A Performing Monkey!
When Uncle Brian and Aunt Kristen gave Gray this fabulous t-shirt! I think they were trying to tell me something! :) I LOVE taking pictures of Gray, OBVIOUSLY. I think we have over 2,000 photos that we have taken since he was born. Gray loves getting his picture taken. If he ever throws a fit, we stop and move on to something else. We are pretty limited as to where we can take his picture. We either prop him up in the corner of a chair or lay him down on the floor. I'm getting so excited for him to sit up on his own, then the fun with his photos really begins!

Three's company-
HAPPY THREE MONTH BIRTHDAY GRAY!
Hard to believe another month has passed. We are loving life with Gray! Still the happiest, most content little baby...and talk about personality! I had a bunch of pictures that we took this morning of him smiling, but I had to post the ones with the funny expressions! What a joker! Life is good, thanks to Gray! :)

Movember
I was going to name this post "Milk Moustache," but as I was uploading pictures I was reminded of our friend Jamie's quest to grow the most unusual moustache for Movember. For those of you that don't know, Movember challenges men to take the month of November to grow a moustache to help raise awareness and funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG.
Last year Jamie grew the "Strongman." The Strongman became famous, making the homepage of The Stachist, an online moustache magazine, and raising $800 in support from Jamie's friends and family.
This year Jamie is growing the "Fastest MO in the West," a moustache fashioned after a lightening bolt. Please help Jamie make this year better than last by visiting his MOspace page and donating to this wonderful cause! Gray decided to help out by growing a giant milk moustache called the "Connoisseur."
HAPPY MOVEMBER!

Game Day! (Part III of Nebraska Trip)
MOM! I look like a freakin' pumpkin! (Part IV of Nebraska trip)
May the Force be with you.

Uncle Brian and Aunt Kristen with Jedi Master Yoda.
We celebrated Gray's first Halloween in Lincoln with Grandaddo Mike, Nanny Toni, Uncle Brian and Aunt Kristen. We had such a wonderful time with everyone on our trip. Gray was really cooperative on his 7 1/2 hour drive and slept the entire way (except to eat.) He was also really cooperative while we took picture after picture of him in his Yoda costume. Ellie too. She wouldn't sit up so you don't get to see just how funny it is, but you get the idea. I think Ellie LOVED the attention she was getting.....she loves getting her picture taken and will hold a pose longer than most people!
Because we had so many events in Lincoln, and blogger only lets you upload 5 photos at a time, the trip will be posted in a 4 part series. Lucky you! :)
