red, white & blue.

While we were waiting for Lou to wake up, I got these shots of Gray.  He was being a total clown. The top picture makes me want to squeeze him tight and scream "DON'T GROW UP!" That is, until he has a tantrum and then I think it would be OK to grow up a bit.

The bottom picture is a total "Jim Bohn."
That's what Drew and I call it when Gray makes a face that looks like my dad.

I think we went through 3 outfits on the 4th. I'm sure you can imagine why. I love this headband so had to take a few pictures. I never thought I would be a mom that put bows or headbands in her daughter's hair...until I had a daughter born with so much of it.

three.

I. Will. Not. Smile.
OK, maybe a little one.
Ta-dah!
Word jumble.
Catching up to Pumpkin Girl.
Tummy time.

 HAPPY 3 MONTHS LOUISE!!!

Miss Louise is growing up. 3 months old and still such a sweet, sweet baby.

Lou is still an amazing sleeper, getting 13-14 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night. It's insane.
She is a VERY smiley baby, but I made the mistake of taking the above pictures a little too close to a nap so she wasn't wanting to smile for me.

Lou has this crazy hair that I don't know what to do with. It puffs up in the back looking like she just had a blow-out. Drew thinks it looks like a hairstyle from the 50's or 60's? I don't know about that but what I do know is she really needs something in her a hair...a headband, barrette or something or she gets confused for a boy.

Lou has rolled over from tummy to back and can roll over from back to tummy (but can't figure out how to get her head over.)  It probably has something to do with her having a big head (97%, just like her brother.) And...speaking of her brother, she loves him as much as he loves her. When she sees him, her face lights up with a big smile. So sweet.

Tummy time.

I almost can't handle the cuteness.
Can I say that about my own child?

Scootin'

All about the candy for going on the potty!
Way to go Gray!
Let's do this!
And he's off!
Grandpa Jim and Gray.
go!go!go!
Taking a shady break!
Scootin' in his undies.
No pants, no shoes, no helmet. Must have been Dad who was in charge! :)

Gray got a Micro Scooter as his potty training present. His friend Desi has one and Gray loved it so much that we decided if he filled up his sticker chart for potty training it would be his "special prize!" Well, I thought it would take weeks if not months to fill up the chart. I was wrong. He would have filled it up in a 2 or 3 days had I kept reminding him to put his stickers on. The minute I realized he was going to be quick to get potty training down, we slowed down with the stickers to drag it out. Ha. Anyway, he is doing great with his potty training and is loving his scooter so much!

Father's Day 2013.

Super Dad
She looks so much like Drew!
Love this.
So stinkin' cute.
Look at Gray in the back. I'm not sure why he was covering his ears, but it made for a great picture!
This may be our first family photo since Lou was born. Yikes.
Grandpa Jim on Father's Day.
Lou loved listening to my dad sing songs.
Look at her brow.
Grandma Neetie and Lou Bear. Although I think Lou looks like Drew mostly, sometimes I see my mom.
Cute.

A little late on the Father's Day weekend post, but better late than never.
Hope it was a great day for all of you dad's!

Happy Father's Day!

My favorite part is when I ask Gray what his Daddy does for fun and he says "He loves Gray!"
So sweet!

Happy Father's Day to all of the wonderful Dad's out there!

TWO.

I love this one. Looks like she's jumping rope or something.
Yo!Yo!Yo!
I had to put a picture of Gray when he was 2 months. It is amazing how much older Lou looks than Gray. Look at his skinny little legs. If you could see her thighs, you would laugh at the difference.
Really, they look nothing alike!

Messing up letters again!
ohhhhhhh.
Lou now has her own big blabla (thanks to Nanny Toni and Grandpa Mike) so we can measure her every month. This one is Pumpkin Girl, she is adorable!

Hey!
Happy Girl!
Loves.

HAPPY 2 MONTHS LOU BEAR!
What a rock star baby! Seriously. So happy! So sweet! So independent! So smiley! This girl sleeps like it's nobody's business. I'm still hesitant to brag about just how long, because it really is unbelievable and I'm still afraid of jinxing it. :) She is enjoying tummy time a little more and really loves it when I sing songs to Gray or Gray sings songs to her.

Gray love, love, loves Lou. His Nanny Toni called Lou "Miss America," so now Gray likes to pat her on the head and say "Hi, Miss America!" It's pretty cute. He has little chats with her all of the time. He loves to hug her and kiss her and help give her baths. He really has become very helpful and seems to have adjusted to having a new addition to our family. He seems to be back to his old self, which I am so grateful for!
