Christmas Countdown-11!

11 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!

For those of you that watch "Saturday Night Live," you may be familiar with the Andy Samberg/Seth Rogen skit "Like A Boss." It's pretty hysterical and Drew thought it was a perfect match for this photo of Gray. He looks so tough.

Christmas Countdown-17!

17 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!

Gray is relaxing this weekend after 2 days with the stomach flu.
Poor little man! He seems to be feeling better, but probably best to take it easy!
Hope you all have a fun, relaxing weekend!

Christmas Countdown-23

Yep, that's what we hear anytime we talk about Santa. I'll have to try to video tape it to share because it is pretty hilarious. The excitement in his voice makes me smile every time!

Christmas Countdown-24!

24 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!

I can't believe it's time for the countdown already! I remember thinking 2 months ago, "I'd better start taking pictures of Gray for his countdown or I'll be in trouble!" The truth is that I didn't start taking them until a week ago (with the exception of one photo.) Life has gotten hectic with a toddler, and preparing for a baby (I'm including the 20 weeks of terrible nausea when I didn't want to do anything,
 in that "preparing.")

With the nausea behind me and my energy up, I had no excuse not to do the countdown this year. Please forgive me if some days aren't as creative as others, I'm going to try my best to keep you interested! Next year should be easier because I will have 2 countdown helpers to photograph!
Can't wait!

Don't forget to STOP and enjoy the sounds, sights, smells and fun this holiday!

Happy Halloween

The beard lasted for about 3 seconds. Probably a good thing, b/c it covered up his belt buckle. :)

Cody and Lila.

Talk about amazing costume!

Little worker gnome.

Miss Willa.

Harry and Declan, decorating cookies. Can you believe Harry's pinata costume? AMAZING.

William and Gray

One last hug before we head out.
Mr. and Mrs. Garden Gnome. Impossible to get a picture of!

Ready to trick-or-treat!

Hat's on, let's go!

Getting the hang of how this works.

Gray and Willa both taking a walking break and digging in their bags to see what they have!

Ride of Gray's life.

Little cuties.

Post trick-or-treating, DJ Gray on piano, Willa busting a move, both with candy in their mouth.

Trick-or-treating partners (sans Morgan and Tim)

Drew and I both agree that this was the most fun Halloween we can remember. Neither Courtney nor I thought Willa or Gray would really understand how trick-or-treating worked, but boy were we wrong! They both said "trick-or-treat" and "thank you" at every house. They were so excited. I think the highlight for them (or us) was when a lady told them "We have special treats for people like you" and she and her husband proceeded to pull out a small bowl of full size candy bars and let them each pick 2. I can remember that rare moment when I was a kid and someone gave out full-size candy bars, it was always the highlight for me too.

We made it about 3 blocks, which I thought was impressive considering the kids had a party at school that afternoon. I thought they would have been exhausted. When we got home, Gray and Willa dumped out their bags, picked out some candy, ate it up, had a dance off and called it a night. Having kids makes every holiday so much more fun, especially now that they are starting to understand.

Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!
